This initiative is a U.S. Department of Labor grant which aims to provide no-cost training and support services to eligible parents who are seeking a livable wage job in high demand industries in Colorado. Through collaboration with the Community College of Denver and the Community College of Aurora, WLP provides coaching and aligned resources to graduates to help with continued success in employment.
A partnership created among existing training and resource organizations to support the development of a local worker pipeline for infrastructure construction job opportunities through career information, education and training, resource support, and employment or navigation services.
DHA collaborates with Worklife Partnership to participate in HUD’s Jobs Plus Pilot program with the goal to develop locally-based, job-driven approaches to increase earnings and advance employment outcomes through work readiness, employer linkages, job placement, educational advancement technology skills, and financial literacy for residents of public housing.
