Content Specialist

WorkLife Partnership seeks a Content Specialist with 2-4 years of experience in creating written and visual content across multiple channels to drive audience engagement. This position will play an integral role within WorkLife’s Sales & Marketing Team by developing and supporting content strategies that engage our dual customer (employer/client) as we continue to scale our services across the country.


Job Summary

The Content Specialist will actively participate in content marketing strategies that support WorkLife’s national business growth and program utilization. The Content Specialist will be responsible for the content creation process for WorkLife’s external communications, creating awareness of WorkLife’s brand, services, and value proposition among our target audiences. This position will work across teams to ensure we’re communicating the right message, at the right time, and through the right medium so that we’re moving our audiences from awareness to engagement.




  • Under the direction of the Senior Director of Employer Engagement, drives a marketing and communications strategy that informs and engages WorkLife’s target audiences
  • Creates content for WorkLife’s external communications from start to finish, including writing, researching, and editing; managing internal stakeholder feedback; and distributing strategically across appropriate channels
  • Drives awareness of WorkLife’s brand by effectively communicating the value of our key services
  • Develops and manages a robust editorial calendar­, ensuring target audiences receive compelling, concise, and consistent messaging
  • Supports in developing and maintaining WorkLife’s audience personas to create personalized messaging that meets our audiences where they are at
  • Builds email marketing campaigns, including writing, designing, list segmentation, and automation creation
  • Assists with WorkLife’s public relations and media outreach efforts to position the organization for greater media visibility
  • Develops and maintains brand standards for external communications; ensures consistent brand identity and positioning in every communication
  • Drives day-to-day website operations; ensures website messaging compels visitors to convert to potential sales leads
  • Develops sales collateral and tools (sales sheets, case studies, presentations)
  • Defines and tracks key metrics for content engagement and performance (views, open rates, conversions, click-throughs) and makes informed improvements as necessary
  • Manages relationships with external vendors/consultants (public relations, graphic design, web development, digital advertising, etc.)
  • Supports in identifying technology optimizations to improve the efficiency of our communications

Compensation and Benefits


We are proud to offer a competitive salary and benefits package to our employees. The starting salary for the Content Specialist is $55,000-$59,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer:
