WorkLife is currently implementing Salesforce CRM to support its organizational operations including tracking and monitoring all business development activities and case management. To oversee the final implementation as well as ongoing administrative activities, we are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our brave and enthusiastically entrepreneurial team.

 

The Salesforce Administrator will lead the strategy, execution, and management of Salesforce CRM for WorkLife Partnership. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that Salesforce is optimized to increase the efficiency of our Sales, Marketing and Program teams (among others). The Salesforce Administrator will translate business objectives and requirements by communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including its senior management. Since end-user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role, exceptional communication and people skills are required. The role itself involves working closely with internal users, gathering requirements, and developing and designing business applications on the Salesforce platform. Successful candidates can demonstrate they have done this type of work effectively and quickly in the past and that they can work with a variety of internal teams.

Job Summary

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for overall management and maintenance of the Salesforce CRM system including data flow management, reporting and analysis. This full-time, salaried position is critical to the organization’s ability to track both trends in who purchases our services (and who doesn’t) and measure the impact of our work in order to gain funding, build enduring business relationships and expand our work nationally. The ideal candidate for this position must be self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize work activities and must also be a team player who is highly collaborative in nature. This individual will need to work with ease cross functionally and have an innate ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator with a 25+ user base
  • Handle all CRM administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, custom fields/objects, workflows, licenses, external apps/add-ons, and other routine tasks
  • Collaborate with various teams to translate programmatic goals into data and reporting solutions
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, visualizations, queries, and reports to serve operational and analytical data needs
  • Create data analytic models to demonstrate programmatic impacts and outcomes
  • Critically evaluate data gathered from multiple sources, identify trends, and reconcile conflicts
  • Support data culture and user adoption of Salesforce across the organization
  • Preserve data integrity (establishes simple, routine quality checks to avoid compounding problems)
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Lead all CRM training efforts including system onboarding for new employees and training on new functionality and features
  • Develop internal training materials and user guides
  • Create and document business requirements, use cases and test cases, interact with stakeholders, business users/analysts, partners, and vendor teams
  • Provide technical support/assistance to internal users
  • Support ad hoc data queries as well as quarterly and annual impact reporting
  • Review, analyze and prioritize system change requests

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with Salesforce system preferably in a nonprofit environment
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds required; hands on experience with all administrative functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, reports, dashboarding, queues, installing apps, and licenses strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage both laterally and upwards
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to communicate complex or technical concepts succinctly and clearly to non-technical audience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Analytical aptitude with an ability to determine trends and provide well-researched but concise recommendations to management and staff through a combination of written and visual means
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional project management skills and a positive attitude
