Jim joined WorkLife after working for their network partner, OAI in Chicago, where he built up the Resource Navigator Service in the Chicago Market. Now he is responsible for the national network along with developing new employer relationships and partners. He has over 25 years’ experience selling in the business-to-business arena and is known for connecting people and organizations. Having migrated to the nonprofit workforce sector, Jim discovered a passion for helping people and supporting them on their path to success.
In recent years, Jim has been involved with and managed innovative projects including 1000 Jobs Initiative to get 1,000 people trained and employed in manufacturing and the Strengthening Working Families Initiative (SWFI), a grant to train people in healthcare, technology, and manufacturing. He has also worked with finding career opportunities for returning citizens.
Jim studied statistical economics at Northern Illinois University. He lives in Palos Hill, IL, with his girlfriend and their cat, Katinauskis.
